We wanted to let you all know about a few things that we have planned for this year

We will put up a list at the clubhouse for people to sign up their names if they would like to take part in any of the above sessions.


Rackets, balls and grips:

As every season we will always have a number of Demo rackets available for anyone interested in changing to a different racket. We should be able to get you a good deal on most rackets.

New Head youtek Speed from last season £50 unstrung, £60 with strings.


Racquet Re-Stringing Service:

KMP Tennis offer a racquet re-stringing service.  We keep all the top brands of string in stock and can order in any specials.  Speak to Kerstin or Jason about any special requests.  Prices start from £18 for a basic synthetic gut.

Fittennis

(every Thursday)

Fittennis is a new and exciting way to keep fit and healthy. An active session including a range of fitness components and Spanish tennis drills that will keep you on your toes!


The aim of each Fittennis session is EXERCISE, an hour of training where everyone involved works at their own exercise heart rate and builds up a sweat.  The benefits are endless;



Listed above are some of the benefits that YOU can achieve. It is recommended by the American College of Sports and Medicine, (ACSM), that 30mins of regular physical exercise everyday is enough to maintain a healthy lifestyle and what better way to keep fit and healthy while playing tennis.

Spanish Drills - training like Nadal!

(every Monday)


These sessions combine fitness with tennis as players will hit a lot of tennis balls in every drill.


Players learn to move in V patterns from side to side and forward and backward. Both defensive and offensive shots are incorporated in this drill, which also helps players develop their fitness, co-ordination and balance as well as their recovery time.
